We thought that it might be helpful for us to list some of our favorite family and personal activities that you can experience while you enjoy your stay.  At this time, I am going to just list them and when I have time, I will expand on those thoughts.  Ok here they are:

• Coffee/ Bagels - Mocha Motts in Oak Bluffs .... say hi to Scott .... he is awesome.

• Coffee/ Breakfast Sandwiches - Expresso Love in Edgartown .... this is a wonderful spot..... like a high-end Starbucks with amazing breakfast sandwiches.

• Brewery - Bad Martha's - The beer is great and the outdoor sitting area is so nice.

• Lunch/ Dinner - Nomad's - Oak Bluffs - On a beautiful day, their outdoor seating is amazing!!!!!  This place is 3 years old and if you have not been, you gotta go

• Lunch/ Dinner - Lookout Tavern - Oak Bluffs - I guarantee that no matter what time you go ... there will be at least an hour wait.  So, have someone walk up and put in your reservation and then walk back to the cottage, have a drink and wait for your reservation to be ready. 

• Mexican - Sharky's - Oak Bluffs - It will take you about 30 seconds to walk there.  The food is delicious!

• Lunch/ Dinner with Water View - The Atlantic - Edgartown - I love it there whether sitting at the bar or grabbing a table.  Food is wonderful.

• Drink & View - Harbor View Hotel - Edgartown - Grab a drink in the bar and sit out on the beautiful front porch.  Absolutely a must!

• Sunsets - Menemsha Beach - Menemsha - This is a tradition at the Vineyard.  Bring some wine, food, beach chairs and bring something warm.  There is usually a decent wind and it can get cool.  Plan at least a 30 minute drive to get there and get there a couple of hours before the sun sets.  There is limited parking.  This has been an Island tradition to sit on the beach, drink your favorite beverage, share laughs with friends/ family and applaud when the sun goes down.  

• Bike Ride - Ride your bike from Oak Bluffs to Edgartown and you will enjoy the water views on each side.

• People Watching - Just sit on the front porch of the cottage.... such a great spot.

• An MV Favorite - "Back Door Donuts" - you are about a minute walk away from the best donuts evah (use your best Boston accent)

• Rainy Days - There are board games in the bedroom with the single twin bed.  They are located in the chest at the end of the bed.

• Gym - "B-Strong" is a local Oak Bluffs gym and it is a short walk away from the cottage.  Get a workout in before hitting the beach.

• Kids Activities - Must go to the Flying Horses and Ryan's Arcade in Oak Bluffs.  There is also mini golf in Vineyard Haven.
